Quality Systems
Consistent High Quality - at Lowest Total Cost
We have found that an open relationship between organizations,
coupled with a thorough early analysis of each project, enables us to deliver
consistent high quality product at the lowest total cost.
A Full-Time Quality Systems Department
The primary focus of Classic Industries' Quality Systems Department is to
develop, maintain and audit our extensive company-wide systems. Their
activities promote continuous improvement though the entire organization. These
experts utilize numerous, specialized tools to assure Classic Industries'
systems and processes are effective.
One priority of the department was to oversee registration to ISO 9001-2000 and
EN-46001 since October of 1998. All facilities achieved ISO 9001-2000 in
October 2001. In addition, Classic Industries is FDA registered.
Customer Dashboard
Another part of the unique customer service that Classic provides is the
Customer Dashboard. It summarizes the manufacturing and delivery performance for a particular device or program. Each report in it is customer driven. A specific performance dashboard would be developed for your specific needs.

Other Quality Systems Tools Include:
-
Design of Experiments(DOE) - identifies a process window, maximizes
process capability, defines process interactions, and reduces variation.
-
Process Validation - Confirms the consistency of process windows
identified by the DOE
-
Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility - substantiates the measurement
methods and standards employed are accurate and repeatable gage to gage and
inspector to inspector.
-
Capability Studies - are conducted during process validation runs to
demonstrate stability within the process. Results of 2.0 or greater are
expected for production tooling.
-
First Article Inspections - performed on parts before they are brought
int the production environment and directly following any engineering changes.
-
Control Plans - are established, documenting how each approved process
is regulated during manufacturing, and serves as a working contact for both
Classic Industries, Inc. and our customer/partners.
